Internet Marketing comes in all shapes and sizes and so the answer to the question is, no, one size does not fit all. Each website business can employ vastly different tactics to accomplish the same results. There are many different ways in which to promote your online business, some will work for your individual business and those same tactics may not work for another. This tactic is fairly basic but is used widely in all marketing segments. In this way you can test the effectiveness of ad copy by varying the sales message on each landing page. To complete this tactic you can also vary the ad copy as well maintaining consistency within the campaign. This tactic has been used in the direct mail industry for many years.
